Honorary FSHOF/FACA Fan Club Chairman & Former FSU Head Football Coach. Holds the NCAA record of 11 consecutive bowl victories & 14 straight bowl trips without a loss. 1993 & 1999 National Championship winning coach. Amos Alonzo Stagg Coaching Award recipient.

-Alan Smith-

Former footballer for Manchester United, Leeds United, & New Castle United. Former Coach & Manager of Notts County. Represented England National Team. ‘The Supporters Player of the Year” award recipient in 2003 & 2004. Premiership medal recipient.

-Wade Boggs-

12 Time All-Star 3rd Baseman for the Red Sox, Yankees, & Devil Rays. Gold Glove recipient in ’94 & ’95. 23rd member of the 3,000th hit club (only player to hit a HR for 3,000th hit). Inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005.

-David Steele-

Served as the network coordinator for football & basketball at the University of Florida for 7 seasons. David then served as the play-by-play duties for the Orlando Magic’s TV broadcasts. He serves at the Magic’s play-by-play announcer after serving as the Magic’s radio play-by-play announcer.

-Robert Weiner-

Three-time state champion Head Football Coach at Plant High School in Tampa, Florida.

-Scot Brantley-

Former Linebacker for the University of Florida & Tampa Bay Buccaneers. An inductee of the FL/GA Hall of Fame c/o 2010 & the Florida Athletic Hall of Fame c/o 1990. Radio & television sports broadcaster.

-Nick Anderson-

Played 13yrs in the NBA. Orlando Magic’s first 1st round draft pick. Inaugural Rich and Helen DeVos Community Enrichment Award Winner (1996). Currently works in the Magic’s community relations department.

-Shannon Clark-

Over 22yrs experience at Florida Citrus Sports & is one of the organizations longest tenured employees. Chief Customer Officer, deeply involved w/ local members, charitable organizations, & w/ bowl fans from around the country. Manages ticketing, event operations, & customer relations.

-Marcia Pinder-

Nine-time state champion Ladies Basketball Coach at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Gatorade 2018 Coaching Excellence Award recipient. Morgan Wooten Award for Lifetime Achievement in Coaching High School recipient & National High School Athletic Coaches Association HoF inductee.

-Jake von Scherrer-

Director of Athletics at the Maclay School, an independent college prep school in Tallahassee, Florida.

-Tammie Talley-

Athletic Director for Duval County Public Schools. 2nd Vice President for the FACA, serves on the Board of Directors for the Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program, & is a district director for the Florida Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.

-Jerry O’Neill-

Legendary Central Florida Sportscaster who has spent 45 years as a radio broadcaster, recently retiring in 2019. Has served as a sideline reporter for UCF football since 1995.

-Bill Buchalter-

FSHOF Class of 2007. Holds awards of distinction from the FACA & the National High School Athletic Coaches Association. Inductee in 4 Halls of Fame: Florida Track; Golden South Classic; Central Florida Sports; & Florida Citrus Sports.

-Michael Parker-

4 yr Member of the University of Richmond Football Team (2x Conference Titles & National Championship in 2008), 2013 signee w/ the Montreal Alouettes (Canadian Football League), 2014 signee w/ the Brooklyn Bolts (FXFL). Founder & President of Athletic Junction LLC, an athleisure lifestyle brand & merchandising company.

-Italis Loperena-

Our 1st winner in our giveaway drawings, winning tickets to the 2018 UF/Colorado State game. She has since become involved w/ the FSHOF as a volunteer raising over $1000 & allowing 40 under privileged kids join the FSHOF Fan Club through our Student Scholarship Program. She is currently a Work Leader for the Seminole County Tax Collectors Office.

-Don Soldinger-

Former two-time state champion Head Football Coach at Southridge High School in Miami, Florida. Two-time Coach of The Year award winner. Former Linebackers Coach at the University of Miami & inductee of the UM Sports Hall of Fame.

-Mark Schusterman-

Athletic Director & six-time state champion Head Softball Coach at Gulliver Prep in Miami, Florida. Member of FHSAA softball advisory committee & FACA Hall of Fame Class of 2009.

-Matt McClellan-

Matt is a former Cyclist turned Bodybuilder. He is the Founder and owner of 2 bicycle themed pizza restaurants, Tour de Pizza, in St. Petersburg, Florida and the author of “The 30 Day Pizza Diet”. He once biked from Florida to Times Square to spread the pizza Gospel eating only in pizza restaurants along the way. Matt has become a big supporter of Florida Sports Hall of Fame.
